Something Stinks

Propaganda or the ugly truth? You decide!

Nothing suspicious going on here … again.

Two weeks ago in an article titled “Nothing suspicious going on here” we reported on a suspicious resolution on the February 18, 2025 HRQLC agenda to extend the time period for complying with the Buy and Build Program by two years. Let’s look at that resolution again.

Motion to adopt Resolution HRQLC# 34-02-25, a resolution authorizing an extension of two (2) years for purchasers of properties under the Buy and Build Program to comply with their obligations thereunder and related matters.

What happened at the February 18, 2025 HRQLC meeting? We don’t know. The meeting was not televised and the minutes of the meeting of the meeting have not been published. Take a look for yourself.

But now that same resolution is on the February 26, 2025 Agenda.

As far as we have been able to tell, the list of buyers who are not in compliance still has not been published. Why is this resolution back on the HRQLC agenda then? Why is the meeting being held 1:30 p.m. on a week when the Council does not have any regularly scheduled meetings? HRQLC meetings usually immediately precede the regular council meetings since everyone on the Council is also on the HRQLC.

Why is everything about this resolution so secretive?

Something about this just really stinks!
