St. Bernard Parish Government suffered serious set backs at the January 7, 2025 Council meeting. Although the battle of the Port of New Orleans has not yet begun, nearly all of the Parish’s high ranking officials have surrendered.
Is this political satire? Of course it is! But what is coming will not be satire. In a series of deep dives, we will begin to explore how the administration and council are laying the foundation of surrender and then taking a look into several of the council members and the motivations they may have for surrendering.
